The South Rebels are proud to work with Project PAVE and the Denver Broncos in helping our student-athletes prepare for life beyond football. Denver South Football players will all be involved with PAVE's "True Man Program" classes at South:
Project Pave's True Man Program:
- Classes help middle and high school boys to reflect upon the male cultural tendencies to teach boys to be hyper-aggressive toward girls and women and the tendency to solve conflicts with violence;
- Players get to reflect upon healthy ways to change these tendencies with respect and support for all others, healthy expressions of emotion, balanced control in relationships, and solving conflicts with assertive communication.
- This program was founded and remains in collaboration with the Denver Broncos’ Futures football program, which pairs middle school football players with their future Denver and Aurora Public High School football coaches for a spring football league.
